Technology is more and more becoming part of the way we learn and teach. Vibe can play an important role in providing students, teachers, and even parents a way of communicating and collaborating in a way that is secure, organized, and intuitive.

In addition to the project management bundle we’ve added another set of workspaces to our Vibe templates. Use this Education Bundle to give your school or school district a head start. Included in these template you will find three workspaces, each with its unique set of tools to address the needs of students, parents, and teachers alike.

The Resource Library has added a new set of videos focused on what started it all, Forms and Workflows. Have you ever experienced the frustration of sifting through email trails to find the information you need? Have you ever received a call asking if you were ever able to get to “that one thing” that you completely forgot? Do you think that your processes would or could benefit from a little automation?

SimplyBox provides Vibe OnPrem users with a powerful "business execution hub," by leveraging their fragment products with Vibe's landing page layout. Enterprise users interact with multiple applications in order to get their jobs done. As they interact with these applications they often have the need to engage or collaborate with their peers. SimplyBox allows the user to add a layer of collaboration directly on top of the applications they use. This means if a user needs to get work done in ERP and Vibe they won't have to leave Vibe because the SimplyBox fragment will allow them to get things done inside Vibe.

We have a couple new videos to check out. The first video is a Novell success story. This video shows how product operations here at Novell has used Vibe OnPrem to automate their processes and manage their documents. The second video is a webinar by Tracy Smith, Product Manager for Vibe OnPrem, he discusses the latest features of Vibe 3.1 and previews the upcoming release of Vibe 3.2.

Garden Valley School Division uses Novell Vibe OnPrem to enable students to collaborate in a safe and supportive environment, and provide professional learning communities for teachers from twelve different facilities.

Novell Vibe OnPrem is not only a great collaboration tool for any organization, it is also a great tool for Novell. Since the release of version 3.0 in December 2010, internal usage of Novell Vibe OnPrem has increased dramatically inside Novell.
