NetWare Physical to Virtual (P2V) Conversion Process With Free Tools
Virtualization is a popular technology these days (rightly so) and is a perfect fit for a test environment where you wish to be able to quickly recover to a known point and potentially spawn additional copies of your test environment. I decided to investigate my options for performing a NetWare Physical to Virtual (P2V) conversion and this article describes the process I ended up using to migrate some Physical NetWare servers to a Virtual test platform.

Migrating from NetWare to OES2 SP1 Linux in XEN VM
One of the nice things about OES2 SP1 Linux is the fact that it runs quite nicely as a para-virtualized VM in XEN. However, one thing we noticed after migrating an NSS volume from NetWare to the OES2 XEN VM was that disk performance was terrible. Here's a solution.
