This is Thomas Sens.
For my short appearance in the IT-world, I have been prepared by doing my job training as a technican implementing Netware286 at a district office in good old West-berlin, germany. Nice job only crimp some BNC-connectors swap two dozens of diskettes and compile a boot floppy.
Your network is ready!
Before that is was a burden to solder all these single 423 wires for a young motivate IT-firstimer :-)
Nowadays wire or no-wires are just there and everything is reachable by them round the globe. And this is where I landed, at the management node. Working as a Technology Specialist for Systems and Resource Management at Novell.
