Operations Center 5.0 Patch Bundle 1 (PB1) is available
We are pleased to announce that the Patch Bundle 1 for Novell Operations Center 5.0 is available to our customers. This patch bundle includes a roll up of customer fixes from 4.7 as well as some enhancements. Please work with support to get access to the bundle as well as review the Release notes for specific details.
At a high level, we have provided improvements in the following areas.
We have certified Netcool 7.3 with the Operations Center Netcool Adapter.
Improvement with our integration with NetIQ AppManager that includes pre-built configurations to construct views (IE: Control Center, multiple AM's/QDB's) as well as prebuilt configuration for a Dashboard layout. Please refer to the NetIQ AppManager Operations Getting Starting Guide for more details.
The Performance portlet had several things done to it...
The Performance Portlet now supports being driven by other portlets (ie: navigation) with MULTIPLE performance metrics (in previous versions, the portlet only displayed one metric when being driven). Other enhancements such as the ability to leverage regex to specify the performance metric names to chart.
