As more Vibe users start to integrate tablets into their arsenal of devices, it becomes important to create layouts that are optimized for those devices. This landing page was built with the tablet user in mind. You will find that it is easier to navigate, view and create entries in Vibe using your tablet compared to other landing page layouts.
This landing page has been optimized for tablet users. The large, centered icons make it easier to navigate using your tablet. Each icon directs you to a page that has the contents clearly displayed in the center of the landing page. If you want to return to the main landing page, simply select the back button on screen. The landing page file below does not contain any content besides the file folders and layout. While being optimized for tablet users, this landing page is completely functional for all aspects of Vibe access. To implement, download the zip file below, import into Vibe, and you are ready to start using this landing page on your tablet.
This workspace was built with 9 different landing pages. It could have been done with less. Please remember these example workspaces are just that, examples. Users can implement these into their own system or they can get an idea of what they want and make a better workspace. These are not templates to be placed into Vibe through the administrators console. They should be imported into Vibe where the workspace is needed. We have recently released an article, "Importing Workspaces", which describes the process of importing one of our demo workspaces. This workspace leverages the use of permalinks so it will need to be configured for your particular Vibe installation. You can find this configuration guide on the download page.
To download the configuration guide and this workspace visit the Vibe Resource Library.
