How to manage and synchronize GroupWise and eDirectory accounts with Active Directory

Riva Identity Integration from Omni enables administrators to use Microsoft Management Console and Active Directory to manage eDirectory and GroupWise. When a new account is created in Active Directory, Riva automatically creates the associated eDirectory and GroupWise account. Changes to account passwords in Active Directory automatically get updated in GroupWise and eDirectory.

Does Riva Identity Integration solve the problem of loss of GroupWise single sign-on in an AD-centric environment (i.e. no Novell Client)?

Riva Identity Integration: AD and GW Password

Riva Identity Integration does not give you single sign-on with the option to automatically open GroupWise if the user is logged into Active Directory. However, it does redirect the GroupWise authentication setting to point to the Active Directory LDAP server. This means there is a single Active Directory password that is used by both Active Directory and GroupWise. Any Active Directory password complexity and change requirements now apply to GroupWise.
