Stubbing confusion - It just doesn't work that way

If you are planning on using stubbing to vastly reduce your message store you may be in for a very rude surprise. Vendors are claiming that stubbing can reduce your message store by 80-90%. I hate to tell you this, but that is not the way it works. A long blog and a short video explains away the confusion.

Access Novell Archive and Version Services PostgreSQL Database Over a TCP/IP Network

Novell Archive and Version Services uses PostgreSQL database for storing detailed information about the archived files. By default the database is configured not to accept any other connections except from the local-host and the user who owns the database.

In this article, I am providing the details to edit the configuration files related to the database and allow remote access.
