How long have you been with GroupWise?

Today, VMware announced they are joining the Linux Foundation. This is very exciting news, and as a board member of the Linux Foundation, Novell is very excited to have VMware join the party.

The emergence of broadly deployed x86-based virtualization is causing an evolution of the role of an operating system. Novell is in an excellent position to take advantage of these changes and provide differentiation from other operating system vendors.

With virtualization comes new challenges. How do you manage the lifecycle of the virtual machines - from creation to retirement? What if you use more than one hyper-visor or operating system? How will I manage both the physical and virtual environment?

What should be expected with character encoding and Unicode support in the various releases of GroupWise.

Earlier this week, engineering released Bonsai BETA 4 to our authorized BETA sites. This is our final authorized BETA before Public BETA. Public BETA is currently scheduled for the end of August. In preparation for Public BETA, we are rolling out Bonsai internally to several hundred users and several post offices, geographies and languages.
