SSL Connection to MySQL Database

Analyzer can now use an SSL connection between it and an external MySQL database used as the Analyzer database. Analyzer uses the Analyzer database as a repository for all imported data.

Enabling an SSL Connection to MYSQL

To enable SSL connections between Analyzer and MySQL:

1. Open the Database Settings preferences (Window > Preferences > Analyzer > Database Settings).
2. Select Use SSL to enable SSL connections.

Note: The MySQL database must be configured to use SSL before enabling an SSL connection in Analyzer. For more information, see Using SSL for Secure Connections in the MySQL Reference Manual.
