eBusiness on NetWare is a sample application written to demonstrate the usage of NSN and its associated components and is not a full-fledged application. This will assist you to develop applications using Novell Script Pages and Novell Script for NetWare, and access NDS and database using UCX Components. The source code for this application is also given in the Zip file for you to play with and modify this sample application to suit your requirements.

eBusiness on NetWare assists you in creating a virtual online store and throws light on how to use Novell Script for NetWare to create and operate an online store and on how to access the database and NDS for product and user information, respectively.
This application is designed to run on NetWare and uses NetWare Enterprise Web server and Oracle 8i to access the database. To use this configuration, install Oracle 8i for NetWare, which is included with NetWare 5.1.
- When the demo application is downloaded from NDK, it gets copied into a folder structure like, C:\NDK\DEMO\EBIZ_DEMO.
The following folders will be copied:
- along with the readme file, EBIZ.TXT
- Copy the aforementioned EBIZ_DEMO folder with all its contents into the folder,
SYS:\NOVONYX\SUITESPOT\DOCS on your server.
- Rename the just copied EBIZ_DEMO folder to EBIZ.
- Thus you will have the following folders under SYS:\NOVONYX\SUITESPOT\DOCS\EBIZ:
- along with the readme file, EBIZ.TXT .
- Configure your envrionment by running http:\\<servername>\ebiz\manager\setup.html.

For running the web page after creation, set the execute flag for the folder Manager in SYS:\NOVONYX\SUITESPOT\DOCS\EBiz\. This can be done from the Netscape Enterprise server Administration page.
