Organizations need to control and manage user account information across various network platforms, including IBM OS/390, Linux, Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, HP-UX, Microsoft Windows NT Domain, Microsoft Windows 2000 Active Directory, Microsoft Windows 2000/NT standalone, and FreeBSD. Novell Account Management (NAM) is a cross-platform, access-management product that enables organizations to centrally manage user identities, provide users with appropriate access, and simplify password administration with a single username and password. This session will discuss how Novell is working to align NAM with Novell Identity Manager. Participants will see how NAM works today and learn of upgrades and migrations that will be available in the future.
