Cool Solutions has gathered some great BorderManager tools! Many are free, some are shareware, and some are eval copies of commercial products. Here's a featured set of tools from the Novell BorderManager Cool Tools grab bag.

Whois v2.0.0 - Get Internet Host Information.

Notes: The WHOIS program fulfills some functions of the similar Linux / UNIX command in the Windows environment. With this software you may get information for a host from the Internet Whois databases.

Trapper 3.0.2 - Controller/analyzer of HTTP traffic for users of Novell BorderManager.

BorderManager XML Parsing Scripts - Manage large ACL lists for BorderManager.

Notes: These perl scripts export ACL rules out to an XML file, which can be manipulated in Excel (or XSLT), and then reimported back into the directory. This also serves as a convenient way to move rules between servers, or to synchronize lists that are 80% the same.

BorderManager Filters Database 1.1 - Monitor changes in BorderManager filters file.

Notes: The "Bordermanager Filters.mdb" database helps manage BorderManager TCP/IP Filters.
