Installation Tips

Manage Server installs on Novell Open Enterprise Server - Linux (not NetWare) or Windows, AIX, Solaris, HP-UX or Linux
Target Service Agent (TSA) must be loaded on every NetWare node to be backed up
Backup Express Client must be installed on every NetWare node
Management interface requires a Windows workstation with Internet Explorer
Peripheral support for most SAN, NAS, disk, tape, library and switch vendors

Backup Express's distributed architecture allows it to back up to any device in the network, while maintaining a single central catalog for the entire enterprise. Backup Express can attach tape drives, as well as large automated libraries, at any server on the enterprise; dynamically allocate drives within a SAN; keep sensitive data off the network; and allow online backups of large database servers.
