Product Overview
AntiVirus Enterprise Edition provides advanced, enterprise-wide virus protection and monitoring from a single management console. It includes file scanning for virus protection on workstations and servers as well as SMTP scanning for email. It also detects and repairs the effects of spyware, adware, viruses and other malware. Centralized management, with threshold alerts and graphical reporting, is also supported.

Special Considerations
Symantec AntiVirus Enterprise Edition includes mail security for SMTP, Microsoft Exchange and Domino, but not GroupWise. It also includes Symantec's Web Security solution-installed and managed through Microsoft Windows-to scan HTTP and FTP traffic for viruses and inappropriate content.
