SAML Extension 1.0.1 for iChain

The SAML extension for Novell iChain gives you the leverage to improve relationships with both your customers and your business partners. As its name suggests, the SAML extension for Novell iChain relies on Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), which is an XML-based security specification for exchanging authentication and authorization information. With this extension, you can enhance your Novell iChain implementation and securely share user information with trusted business partners across the Web.

A major benefit of the SAML Extension for Novell iChain is that it enables business partners to provide single sign-on to and from each of their Web-based services, effectively creating a seamless Internet experience for their respective users. In addition, the SAML specification allows partners to implement single sign-on without the need of costly, often unrepeatable custom coding projects.
