This package contains an updated version of the Linux imaging utilities that support the creation of and restoration of Windows XP partitions. With the included files, you will be able to create diskettes, CDs, and PXE sessions that can image Windows XP partitions including XP versions of FAT16, FAT32 and NTFS.
The package also contains modifications to the Linux Imaging Environment and ZENworks Imaging Engine that provide a significant performance increase when restoring imaging on IDE drives.
This package also updates the Linux kernel to version 2.4.11, which contains improved support for many devices, including pcmcia and USB devices.
Deploying modified resource files so that new PXE sessions, CD-ROM and Diskette are relatively straightforward. You simply need to find the original resource files on your servers and replace them with the modified versions. Some files may be located in more than one location on your server.

Once the modified resource files are in place, the Boot Disk Creator and PXE services will start creating diskettes and Linux sessions with your modifications. The actual path containing the "public" directory may be different on your system.
