Increasing mass appeal of both NetWare 6 and ZENworks for Server 2 (ZfS 2) has lead to many inquiries on how to use the two together. Because ZfS2 was created before NetWare 6, several compatibility updates are required to host ZfS2 services on NetWare 6. To ensure success, you must strictly follow the procedures outlined in this document.
The procedure for enabling ZfS2 to run on NetWare 6 depends on how you intend to install NetWare 6. There are two paths for how this may be done:
- Upgrading from NetWare 4 or 5
- Installing NetWare 6 as a new server
