If you ever have a problem with registry settings not getting set correctly, or if they ever get corrupted during the installation of NetStorage or ZfD 4 on a NetWare 6 server, this one's for you.

This is how you manually correct the NetWare registry settings on a NetWare 6 server.

Pre-NW6SP3

1) To get around the problem you may want to follow the following procedure if you have a pre-NW6SP3 installation: (Choose one of the command line options to solve a particular issue.)

Load sys:\xtier\regsvr.nlm "ZEN40" This lays out most of the registry settings
Load sys:\xtier\regsvr.nlm "DOMAIN1=address:context" This sets the primary domain
Load sys:\xtier\regsvr.nlm "DOMAIN2=address:context" This sets a secondary domain (optional)
Load sys:\xtier\regsvr.nlm "DOMAIN2=address:context" This sets another secondary domain (optional)
Load sys:\xtier\regsvr.nlm "DOMAIN2=address:context" This sets another secondary domain (optional)
Load sys:\xtier\regsvr.nlm "USERNAME=username" This sets the Proxy Username
Load sys:\xtier\regsvr.nlm "PASSWORD=password" This sets the Proxy Password

Reboot server after executing all or one of the options listed above.

NW6SP3

2) If you have a NW6SP3 installation do the following: (Choose one of the command line options to solve a particular issue.)

Load sys:\xtier\regsvr.nlm This lays out most of the registry settings
Load sys:\xtier\regsvr.nlm "CLEAR_AUTH_DOMAINS" This makes sure that all domain configuration is removed from the registry
Load sys:\xtier\regsvr.nlm "DOMAIN1=address:context" This sets the primary domain
Load sys:\xtier\regsvr.nlm "DOMAIN2=address:context" This sets a secondary domain (optional)
Load sys:\xtier\regsvr.nlm "DOMAIN2=address:context" This sets another secondary domain (optional)
Load sys:\xtier\regsvr.nlm "DOMAIN2=address:context" This sets another secondary domain (optional)
Load sys:\xtier\regsvr.nlm "USERNAME=username" This sets the Proxy Username
Load sys:\xtier\regsvr.nlm "PASSWORD=password" This sets the Proxy Password

Reboot server after executing all or one of these options listed above.

Note: "address" stands for a server DNS name or IP Address.
