Novell's SecureLogin takes a different approach on the single sign-on problem. JD Marymee does a great job explaining the pros and cons of all the solutions -- including SecureLogin -- in this new Novell Connection article.

The Novell SecureLogin Approach
Novell SecureLogin presents a unique approach to the single sign-on dilemma. Instead of trying to homogenize all the logins using a single directory, SecureLogin recognizes when a login is occurring and then captures the credential information and securely stores it in eDirectory. SecureLogin can then provide this credential information in the proper format for future logins. In this way, a single system can support all the various permutations of login names and passwords.
