Quick for NDS - Command- line utility to access NDS from the DOS prompt or from a batch file.

Notes: Quick for NDS will allow you to execute several NDS operations from the command line or from batch files. The current version accepts these operations: Account, Alias, Attribute, Clone, Copy, Create, Delete, Dump, Equivalencies, Exists, ForAll, ForSet, Groups, List, LoginScript, Member, Move, NDS, Rename, Restrict, Rights, Security, Show, and Visible.

Notes: LDAP Search and Replace: Allows network administrators to search for a specific string or integer within an attribute of a given object class and replace its value. LDAP Compare: Compare the number of objects between to directory trees (AD or eDir) and determine the differences. LDAP Group Assignments: Reads group assignments from one directory and writes them into the target directory (double links objects).

SetACL - Windows Permission Management: Set permissions on virtually anything.

Notes: SetACL is a set of routines for managing Windows permissions (ACLs) from the command line, from scripts and from programs. These routines can be used from various container or interface programs. Currently there's a command line version for batch files or scripts, and an ActiveX control (SetACL.ocx) that can be used from any COM-enabled language (VB, WSH scripts, ...).

Notes: In many situations not all snap-ins are needed for the current task, and sometimes loading a specific snap-in may even be undesirable. C1x uses a checkbox selector so you can select the snap-ins that you want to load. All other snap-ins are temporarily disabled.
