Acceptable Use Policies (AUP) are an important way to govern the way users use the Internet in your organization. A good AUP allows you:

To communicate your policy
To protect against potential liability
To avoid security threats
To educate users about best practices

We've just added some excellent examples of sound and effective AUPs to the Manager's Resource Library. Take a few minutes to explore the offerings under Security Policies and Principles, and you might pick up a few ideas to strengthen your existing AUP, or to help you craft a new one.
