In addition to having Corporate Firewall certification, Novell BorderManager is now officially IPsec certified by ICSA Labs. This achievement further bolsters the value proposition of NBM 3.8's completely new VPN service.
Now, in addition to our own interoperability claims, we have bulletproof independent validation. The interop phase of the testing was extremely rigorous. At one point NBM was participating in a site-to-site VPN network with nine other VPN gateways from different vendors.
A press release with more details about this achievement is available at: http://www.trusecure.com/company/press/pr_20040512.shtml

- Congrats, Novell! I'm loving the new 3.8 VPN. Thank you for being responsive to customer feedback; this is just what we've been waiting for.
- 3.8 is hard to set up compared to 3.7 VPN. But I've used other IPSec products and you did pretty good. It's complex stuff. Docs could be much better, but the UI is better than the competition.
