Novell recently announced the availability of Novell® NetMail 3.1, Novell's cross-platform Internet messaging solution that now operates on Windows NT*/2000. NetMail, formerly named Novell Internet Messaging System (NIMS), is a standards-based messaging solution that provides e-mail, calendaring and schedule sharing across the Internet. NetMail 3.1 supports hundreds of thousands of users on a single server, giving enterprise customers a highly scalable messaging infrastructure at a very low cost. NetMail allows customers to leverage the power of the Internet along with their existing network investment to more efficiently communicate and do business.
- Novell NetMail (formerly NIMS) now runs on Windows and provides e-mail, calendaring and schedule sharing across the Internet
- NetMail 3.1 supports hundreds of thousands of users on a single server, whether Windows, Solaris, Linux or NetWare
- NetMail supports Palm OS and Pocket PC synchronization of e-mail, calendar and address book data from any network workstation
Pricing and Availability
Novell NetMail 3.1 will be available June 28 through Novell Authorized ResellersSM and solution providers for a suggested $15 per user license.
