Sometimes, you need your space. To shut out the world and keep others from scheduling you for meetings for a while, block off a chunk of time in your Calendar. Click the down arrow next to the Schedule New Appointment button on the toolbar, then click Personal Appointment (Posted Appointment in later versons of GroupWise). The Personal Appointment (Posted Appointment in . . . oh whatever) window appears. What the heck, schedule the rest of the day. Call it an on-site retreat.
