A Custom 3rd-Party Object (C3PO) can extend the GroupWise environment. C3POs can access and manipulate the GroupWise data store through the GroupWise Object Application Programming Interface (API). The combination of C3POs and Object API provides a powerful framework to open the GroupWise system to third-party development. This session will provide instructions on the basic use of GroupWise C3POs. Participants will learn about the overall structure of a C3PO and its use in programmatically manipulating the GroupWise Client interface and intercepting GroupWise Client commands and events. The C3PO Wizard, used for creating basic C3PO frameworks, will also be covered.
