The GroupWise Personal Address Book Merge Utility will take multiple personal address books and merge them into a single destination address book tab without any duplicate email addresses.

This utility was requested because a user had many individual address book tabs with several hundred addresses per tab and many email addresses were duplicated. When an email was sent by selecting everybody in these address books, people were often getting 4-5 of the same emails. This program was written to avoid that problem. It also makes it less time consuming to select people from multiple address book tabs to send mass emails out because now addresses only need to be selected from one address book tab.

This utility has been tested on Windows 98, 2000, and XP with GroupWise 5.5EP SP1, GroupWise 6 SP1, and GroupWise 6 SP3 systems. It has not yet been tested with GroupWise 6.5.
