Under the 16bit client, we had a macro that would set up the search and show the departmental schedules from a single click of a shelf icon. With macros gone in the 32-bit client, do I now have to tell my users that they're going back to manually creating the same busy search every time? (We're pretty handy with the network stuff, but I doubt we'd get a chance to learn the SDK and write a C3PO to replace a three line macro.)

Bruce, we agree that C3POs are a bit more daunting than simple macros. We do have some suggestions for you, although they’ll take a bit more than a single click. Just create a group which includes not only the people involved, but the resources as well. This alone should save you setup time whenever you schedule an appointment. To make busy searching even easier, create a shortcut on your desktop: type the group name in the appointment along with any other default information. Drag the message to your desktop as explained in this tip.  Now, any time you want to check your schedule quickly, just click Busy from the shortcut. (Version: 5.x)
