So he usually just uses one calendar that the whole group can see simultaneously. However, the GroupWise appointment view displaying multiple appointments at the same time is hard to read as well. Is there a way to schedule and view multiple people in different colors or something to make his life simpler?

A:
No, you can’t view people’s schedules in multiple colors, but it is an interesting concept and we’re passing it along for consideration. If your manager is trying to find and schedule a tech who is available at a certain time or check who is where when, he’ll want to use Busy Search. It’s a more organized, easier way of viewing the schedules of multiple users all at once. If all the techs give him proxy view rights, he’ll even be able to read exactly what each appointment is. If, when he’s finished scheduling, he wants to post an easy-to-read schedule for everyone to see (or to print out multiple copies for people to put in their planners or hip pockets or wherever), he can use the Multi-User calendar type in Print Calendar. Multi-User is only available in GroupWise versions 5.1 and higher. If you haven’t upgraded yet, you might want to seriously consider it. Find out how to use Busy Search and how to print a multi-user calendar.
