I recently downloaded and installed the Message Enhancement Pack C3PO. Everything was fine until I attempted to customize the toolbar properties in order to show all the buttons in two rows. All of the new buttons disappeared! Nothing I have tried, including removing and reinstalling the C3PO, has worked. How do I get my buttons back?
A:
Thank you for the input. Rich Hume, the developer of this C3PO, has located the problem and is looking into a fix for the next version of the C3PO. In the meantime, here are the steps you need to follow to get the buttons back:
1. Uninstall the C3PO.
2. Start GroupWise.
3. Open the view type that is missing the buttons (such as a mail view).
4. Right-click the toolbar, click Properties.
5. Click the Customize tab.
6. Click Edit in the Categories list box.
7. Add the Font button back to the toolbar, click OK.
8. Repeat Steps 3-7 for any other view types (such as appointment, task).
9. Exit GroupWise.
10. Reinstall the C3PO. The problem will occur anytime you use the Toolbar Properties dialog box to make changes while the C3PO is installed. The C3PO currently keys off of the presence of the font button on the toolbar to add the other buttons. It also replaces the font button with a custom one. Unfortunately, when you edit the toolbar properties, the toolbar is saved without the font button so the C3PO never adds the other buttons after that.
