DB wrote: I am unable to move sent items to individual folders. Right now I can move a message to the individual folder, but it also stays in the sent folder and when I delete the item in the sent folder it also deletes the message in the individual folder. I used to be able to move the items and it worked well. Something I did (don't know what I did!) lost my sent folder and when we recreated my sent folder I lost the ability to move the items. What can I do to gain this ability to move them again? --GroupWise Version 6.5

A:
In GroupWise 6.5, the Sent Items folder is now a system folder and cannot be deleted. (The Sent Items folder in previous versions of GroupWise was a Find Results folder.)

Check out the following TID for information on problems you might have after upgrading to GroupWise 6.5: TID10084739 - After upgrading to GroupWise 6.5, some users have an "Old Sent Items" folder.

Also see: Sent Items Folder in the GroupWise 6.5 Documentation.

  • This did not even address the root problem - items moved from sent folder to cabinet folders reside in both places and cannot be unlinked. This tends to overload the sent items folder.
