Here's a similar question that was answered in the Novell Technical Support GroupWise forums.
Question: JP wrote: Does anyone know if you can change the color of the clock in the calendar? Mainly the 'day' view screen. The clock is a puke green color and is very difficult to read. Thanks muchAnswer: by Danita Zanre
It looks to me like when you open the calendar you are getting "USDAY.VEW" as the view (and it's dated 1998), whereas I'm getting "US02DAY.VEW" dated 2002. So, for some reason your PO is set to use the older view as the default - most likely a holdover from a prior version through upgrades, etc.
Do you have a GWVW02US.INI file in your PO/OFVIEWS/WIN directory?
Do you have a US02DAY.VEW in that directory? The views from the CD should be copied over, but they might already be there and for some reason you're just not accessing them.
Do you have any of those ini files on your PC anywhere?
Update from JP: The views in the Post Offices were all the older dates. I have a PC that is running the 6.5 client and it had the correct views on it along with the .ini files. I copied the VEW files over to the Post Office and the day view in the calendar is displaying correctly, no more puke green clock.
