4/22/2004 - JM wrote: My company is has locations internationally and we are all on GroupWise...the problem is scheduling an appointmet for particopants in different time zones...example, when my german counterpart schedules a meeting for 3:00 PM it shows up at 3:00 PM on my appoinmment calendar instead of 8:00 AM which would be the correct time in Chicago time zone. Is there a feature in Groupwise that automatically adjusts the time zones...all I can do now is decline the appointment and then reschdule it for myself at the correct time in Chicago

A:
Here's a great TID that explains all of the different factors that could affect the time in GroupWise to help you find out where the problem is.

  • The Time zone definition that the server running the POA is using.
  • The Time zone definition of the timezone assigned to the domain in GroupWise.
  • The Time zone definition of the timezone assigned to the Post Office in GroupWise.
  • The Time zone definition on the timezone workstation where the client is running.

See TID10081255 - Figuring out GroupWise Time issues for all the details.
