I came across just one method that of counting them in the GWIA logs. I would like to request if anybody can just help me in this quest and simplify this process. Is there any other way to get the mail details?

A:
Take a look at the User Traffic Report in the online documentation.

The user traffic report lists all messages sent by a specified user during a specified date/time range, along with date, time, and size information for each message. You can also generate a user traffic report for all users whose messages pass through a selected domain.

See User Traffic Report

There is also a Cool Tool: GroupWise Accounting Data Report 1.79 that will generate a report on individual or all users. You can also select a date range for review. Get it here: http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/tools/1367.html
