It started at 3 and has now gradually increased to 5.

Have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, but this has made no difference.

Here is a TID that may help: Inbox icon shows unread items; not true - TID10056056

  • 3 times now, I've had users report this issue. I noticed each time that the users folders were out of normal order. Sometimes they had even been drug into another folder. So, on a whim I started straightening out their folders to the normal default order. As I started to do this I noticed that suddenly there was one less false unread item listed in the mailbox. By the time I had all their folders back in original order the mystery unread item count was back to zero. Thought I'd pass it along. Sincerely, Connie Wheeler
