Q:
When I check the properties on a sent email I can see that the email was delivered but there is no indication that the email was opened and read. Can I configure settings so that I know a specific email was opened and read.

A:
Yes, GroupWise provides several ways for you to confirm that your item was delivered.

  • Track an Item You Sent
    You can check the status in the Properties window of any item you've sent.


  • Receive Notification When the Item is Opened or Deleted
  • You can receive notification when the recipient opens or deletes a message, declines an appointment, or completes a task.


  • Request a Reply
    You can inform the recipient of an item that you need a reply. GroupWise adds a sentence to the item stating that a reply is requested and changes the icon in the recipient's Mailbox to a double arrow.
