Getting encrypted OpenLDAP passwords

Q:
How can I fetch a password that's available in OpenLDAP only in encrypted format? Can DirXML store MR5-hashed passwords and use these hashes to authenticate users?

A:
This should be doable with Identity Manager 2.0.1, as it now supports synchronizing a hash with the NMAS Simple password. See also http://www.novell.com/documentation/dirxml20/admin/data/botfldy.html#bcgjjahc
