Q:
I have a dell d600
Ive reinstalled the ndiswrapper v0.8
I've got the bcmwl5.inf bcmwl5a.inf and bcmwl5.sys file
I've backreved the kernel version to 2.6.5-7.111.22

I've gone through the steps of modprobe ndiswrapper and adding the drivers to ndiswrapper And then did a ndiswrapper -m to write out to the conf file rebooted then go into YAST network config and cannot get the darn thing to work.

Any ideas? Has anyone been able to get the wireless working on the D600 with NLD?

A:
Yes. I finally got mine working. I had to go get ndiswrapper 12, I think it was, and the newest bcmwl5.sys off of Dell's site. Do that and it will work with the newest kernel.
