A customer has bought SLES 9 and ESX and intends on using it. Does Novell support SLES 9 on ESX platform?

A:
Novell will probably provide best effort support to Novell customers. As far as ESX goes IS&T will probably ask the customer to reproduce any problems on a non VMWare platform. If they can reproduce the problem, we will support them. If they cannot, they will say to get support from VMWare. For more info click here.
