Q:
I'm trying to install a Citrix application that uploads financial documents to a secure site. If the application receives an http 407 error, it requests authentication credentials. Can I create a basic authentication rule for everyone that uses the application? this application is running > on a Citrix Server. The system admin has told me clntrust and dntrust do > not work well when running under Citrix.

A:
Create an exception in the access rules so that the machine can use the proxy without authenticating. Use the "authenticate only when user attempts to access a restricted page" in the authentication context section of NWAdmn32. Create a rule that allows the IP address of the Citrix server to access the specific site.
