Q:
My biggest problem with PDA Connect is that it does a Full sync everytime and asks for confirmation everytime no matter how I change the settings. How do you turn this off?

A:
The most common reason for PDA Connect to be doing a full sync each time a sync is performed is the user selected to sync with "Multiple PC's" during the install. In the case of syncing with multiple pc's, a full sync MUST be done each time to ensure consistency of the data.

  • I have the same problem, but this was no help. Didn't tell me how to SOLVE the problem.
  • Is there a way to change the setting back to single-PC synchronize mode?
  • Actually the answer does seem to solve the full sync issue for me. Although I'm using pda connect 7.01, I also see pda connect always doing a full sync. To elaborate, during the installation of pda connect, you will be asked if you will be syncing to only 1 machine or multiple. If you answer multiple this "problem" occurs. When I reinstalled PDA Connect 7.01, I answered single machine and now I don't see the full sync's. dw
  • Auswahlfunktion bei der Installation nicht eindeutig erklärt !
  • This was not a solution just a restatement of the problem
