I was doing a remote upgrade of a NetWare server to bring it up to NetWare 6.5, and the server failed during the process. Is there any way I can do a down-server upgrade?
A:
Yes, there is. Ideally, of course, upgrades to NetWare 6.5 should be done on a running server from the server GUI console or a remote workstation. But there are times, like yours, when it might be necessary to perform an upgrade on a downed server.
