Printer names are too long in iPrint

We have implemented iPrint in a fairly large environment and users are complaining that the printer names that have been defined in Windows appear way too long. When they select the printer from the printer drop-down list in Windows the name is so long that they cannot see the entire name. Is there a way to change the name of the printer so it does not have a lot of the extra information appended to it?
A:
Either upgrade to iPrint client version 1.10, or check this TID for a workaround.
