I am unable to install NDPS on Windows 98, but I selected NDPS during the install. What else do I need to do?



A:
We have heard of this before when people had set the NWNDPS values wrong. For example, the NWNDPS line in the NWSETUP.INI file might have the values set to: 1,0,0

Here is what you do.

Modify the NWSETUP.INI file in the client install directory:
\WIN95\ibm_enu\NWSETUP.INI

Make sure the line under [PossibleInstallList] reads as follows:
1=NWNDPS,nwndps.inf,0,0,0
