Can't load NAMED.NLM after upgrading

Q:
We just upgraded to NetWare 6.5 from NetWare 6, and now find ourselves unable to load NAMED.NLM.



A:
Try this:

1. Install the new DNS/DHCP Management console for NetWare 6.5 (SYS:PUBLIC\DNSDHCP\SETUP.EXE).
2. Delete the current DNS server object and recreate with the newly installed DNS/DHCP Management console.
3. Assign the DNS server to the zones it needs to service.
4. LOAD NAMED.NLM

If after following the above steps, you still receive errors similar to the one above, do the following:

1. Unload NAMED.NLM
2. Make sure you have installed the new DNS/DHCP Management console for NetWare 6.5.
3. Export the zone that is causing the error and re-import it with the newly installed DNS/DHCP Management console.
4. Assign a DNS server to the zone.
5. LOAD NAMED.NLM
