I have just installed a new 6.5 server with sp2. When I open the Virtual Office url I am not being prompted to enter a password. What do I need to change so that users are always prompted to enter their passwords?
A:
If you are using MS Internet Explorer and have installed NMAS with your Novell client, then once you login to a Novell tree MS IE picks up the authentication for Virtual Office from there and avoids the logout buttons in the portal. You can test this by logging out from the Novell trees and trying again. When you go to VO a Windows pop-up window will ask you for the password instead of the classic web login page. Another trial: go to VO with any other browser (Opera, Mozilla,...) in this case, the web login page will appear.
