Wrong URLS displaying in WebSearch results

I managed to get WebSearch to index the correct files. However, when I click on a document found by the search, I get a 404 URL not found error. Have I missed something?
A:
This usually indicates that the base URL of the web server in the index is incorrect. Examine the URL strings of the returned hits as you hover over them with the mouse... are they correct, or "bad" URLs?
You might also want to take a look at apache config. You'll need to define and configure additional document directories in Apache. For more info, see this TID.
