This left us with a logistical problem of getting all the printers installed on the workstations. So we decided not to install the printers. We setup each printer as an iPrint printer. We delivered a desktop icon to each teacher that directed them to the iPrint installation page. After sending out instructions for installing the printers every teacher had their printer installed on every computer in there classroom within a few days. Now we have teachers sharing printers and sending printed documents to teachers at other schools in the district. We haven't opened up the firewall to allow them to print from home but we may in the near future. I can't even start to guess how much time iPrint saved our Tech department. It is a great addition to our Network.
