Q:
If you install iManager 2.0.2 on serveral servers in the same tree, must
they each have a unique exteNd container or can you share a single instance?
A:
By default, installing and configuring iManager 2.0.2 will create a separate extend container per server context. If you have all your servers in the same container, then they will share. However, if they are in different containers, a different exteNd container will be created for each.
Some people like to edit the PortalServlet.properties file and point to a different PCO object. In that file look for
System.PortalConfigurationObjectDN=cn\=pco,ou\=Extend,ou\=servers,o\=novell and point it to the desired PCO object.
