I accidentally deleted the "my computer" icon on my desktop. How do I get it back?
A:
In Gnome, in order to restore your "My Computer" icon to your desktop, simply click on System -> Control Center. Then click on Menus. Then drag the "Computer" icon to your desktop.
The new "Computer" icon provides exactly the same functionality as the "My Computer did".
