After initial installation without encryption, I would like to switch over to encryption. Any straightforward way to do it? I'm trying to do this on the client. I assume that to change anything, I have to uninstall and resinstall the client software and I am hoping to avoid that.
A:
When you installed iFolder to the server, it set up SSL on the backend for you. To attach securely from the workstation, you simply need to add the secure port to the iFolder server address.
If you were connecting to ifolder.mycompany.com before, you should now connect to ifolder.mycompany.com:443.
